OUR STORY
In the Spring of 2020, Dave got his first smoker to pass the time and fill their bellies during COVID. Well, wouldn't you know that ONE smoker ignited a passion for smoky flavors and smoked foods! So much so that the original smoker has now blossomed into SEVEN smokers, each unique in their own way—big, small, long ones, and tall ones!
Dave got hooked on smoked baby back ribs and would often mention to friends and family that he was firing up the smokers if anyone wanted to enjoy some ribs. They were such a HUGE hit that the search began for the perfect BBQ food truck. After months of looking, the right food trailer was finally purchased, and it was meant to be as it was a BBQ Food Trailer complete with a screened-in porch!
Fast forward to August 1, 2025, we officially launched Lakes Region BBQ on the streets of Laconia.
It has been a wild and crazy ride, getting to do what we love and meet awesome people every day! It is for sure a dream come true!
